The City of Coquitlam has planned an entire day of celebrations and food offerings at 1290 Pinetree Way at Town Centre Park. Two stages of music and dance entertainment, adventure games an ecozone, craft booths, city and community display are all part this year’s Lafarge Lake Canada Day celebrations that start at noon.
The show starts at 8:15 p.m. the energetic cover group Trilojay will be performing in the TD Performance Stage, followed by a performance at 10:00 p.m. with fireworks on Lafarge Lake. The entire area of the festival is secured, and between 01:01 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Beer Camp Co. and Coquitlam’s Mariner Beer will be sold under an open-site liquor license. It is also possible to get to the Lafarge Lake Douglas stop on SkyTrain.
